MCX Morning Wrap: Base metals under pressure

Base metals eased on the MCX in morning trades today. MCX benchmark April Copper futures are down 0.18% to trade at Rs 874.05 per kg. The counter edged up just above Rs 876 per kg in early moves but edged lower thereafter. MCX Aluminum futures slipped 0.66% on the day to trade at Rs 239.70 per kg. MCX Zinc futures lost 0.31% to trade at Rs 255.15 per kg. MCX Lead futures also slipped 0.11% at Rs 179.30 per kg.
