MCX Morning Wrap: Copper corrects after testing around Rs 1340 per kg

Base metals eased somewhat today, giving up some of the sharp gains seen this week. MCX January 2026 Copper futures are trading at Rs 1330.30 per kg, down 0.60% on the day. The counter hit a high above Rs 1340 per kg before topping out. MCX Aluminum futures corrected 0.57% to trade at Rs 313 per kg. MCX Zinc futures dropped 0.62% to trade at Rs 313.70 per kg. MCX Lead futures stayed in green though and currently trade at Rs 195.20 per kg, up 0.85% on the day. Nickel soared though, up 5% to trade at Rs 1870 per kg.
