Silver sparkles, up around 11% this week

Silver futures soared sharply with COMEX futures jumping 6.30% to $85.49 per ounce amid weakness in the US dollar. The white metal has been well supported on a sustained sharp drop in Chinese Silver inventories. Supportive equities have also boosted the metal after it fell from record highs and the counter has zoomed up 11% this week. MCX Silver futures are also up 6% at Rs 267952 per kg after an upbeat opening today. The counter has gained throughout the session.
