MCX Morning Wrap: MCX Aluminium spikes 4%

Base metals mostly gained today but overall mood was volatile. MCX April 2026 Copper futures are trading at Rs 1153.80 per kg, up 0.30% on the day. The counter stayed in negative territory in early trades before moving up and saw decent gains after breaking above Rs 1150 per kg mark. MCX Aluminum futures soared 1% to trade at Rs 353.50 per kg, opening on a very firm note and holding onto the gains. MCX Zinc futures are up 1% to trade at Rs 318.60 per kg. MCX Lead futures edged up 0.36% on the day to trade at Rs 192.10 per kg. MCX Nickel futures spiked 1.76% to trade at Rs 1644.90 per kg.
