MCX Morning Wrap: Nickel breaks above Rs 1600 per kg, Copper softens

Base metals stayed mostly supported today but overall mood was mixed. MCX March 2026 Copper futures are trading at Rs 1178.35 per kg, down 0.25% on the day as a break under Rs 1200 per kg mark is weighing on the metal. MCX Aluminum futures are up 0.28% to trade at Rs 343.35 per kg. MCX Zinc futures slipped 0.19% to trade at Rs 322.30 per kg. MCX Lead futures added 0.54% on the day to trade at Rs 187.75 per kg. MCX Nickel futures gained 0.67% to trade at Rs 1604 per kg.
