Benchmark indexes Sensex and Nifty jumped around 1.2 percent each on Thursday to extend gains for a fourth straight session, while the rupee gained 1 paisa to close at 86.36 against the dollar. The counter is currently holding at around 2-month high. However, uncertainty surrounding President Donald Trump's tariff stance could pose challenges to the rupee's upward momentum.
