MCX Evening Update: Precious metals under pressure, Silver dips near Rs 270000 per kg

Precious metals are under stress today on MCX. Gold is down 0.53% at Rs 162428 per 10 grams after testing lows around Rs 162000 per 10 grams in last couple of hours of trade. MCX Silver futures are trading at Rs 270400 per kg, down 2.68% on the day. The counter opened lower and saw consistent selling pressure.
