Euro off one-week low against US dollar, EUR/INR above 105 mark


Euro edged up a little after testing around one-week low near 1.1750 against the US dollar. EUR/USD is currently quoting at 1.1765, down marginally on the day amid an overall choppy action. The euro area current account surplus rose to a three-month high in October, figures from the European Central Bank showed on Friday. The current account surplus rose to EUR 25.7 billion in October from EUR 23.6 billion in September. However, data out on Friday showed that declining trend in German producer prices deepened in November. Producer prices fell 2.3 percent year-on-year in November, faster than the 1.8 percent fall in the prior month. On NSE, EUR/INR futures are trading at 105.18, down 0.05% on the day after breaking under 105 mark in early moves.
