Treasuries have moved sharply lower over the course of the session. As a result, the yield on the benchmark ten-year note which moves opposite of its price, surged 7.1 bps to a four-month closing high of 4.23%.
U.S. Treasury yields rose on Friday as investors monitored the economic outlook and geopolitical concerns.
The benchmark 10-year Treasury yield gained more than 6 bps to 4.22%. The yield on the 2-year Treasury advanced 3 basis points to 3.594%. The 30-year Treasury yield was also more than 5 basis points higher at 4.83%.
