Capri Global's gold loan AUM crosses Rs 20 billion mark

Capri Global Capital said that its Gold Loan AUM has crossed Rs 2,000 crore milestone within a period of 13 months after commencement of this business.


The AUM is inclusive of on-book AUM, co lending AUM, and the AUM originated under the business correspondent model.

The exclusive Gold Loan branch network expanded to 742 branches, close to the initial target of 750 exclusive Gold Loan branches by 30 September 2023.

"As previously guided, CGCL is committed to and on path to achieve ₹ 30 Bn (₹ 3,000 Crore) Gold Loan AUM by Mar'24,” the company said in a statement.

Capri Global Capital is the flagship company of Capri Group. It is non- deposit taking systemically important non-banking finance company (NBFC-ICC) engaged in extending loans to MSMEs loans secured against property and construction finance. CGCL has a subsidiary Capri Global Housing Finance (CGHFL).

The scrip had shed 0.12% to end at Rs 785 on the BSE yesterday.
