Indian Bank's total deposits climb 13% YoY to Rs 8.30 lakh crore in Mar’26

Indian Bank said that its total deposits rose 12.6% to Rs 8.30 lakh crore as of 31 March 2026, compared with Rs 7.37 lakh crore as of 31 March 2025.


Gross advances increased 13.6% to Rs 6.68 lakh crore as of 31 March 2026 as against Rs 5.88 lakh crore as of 31 March 2025. The bank’s total business grew 13.1% to Rs 14.98 lakh crore as of 31 March 2026, compared with Rs 13.25 lakh crore as of 31 March 2025. CASA (domestic) ratio stood at 39.86% as of 31 March 2026 compared with 40.17% in the corresponding period last year, while current account (CA) deposits rose 20% year on year (YoY) to Rs 0.48 lakh crore as of 31 March 2026.

Indian Bank has many deposit schemes tailored to suit the needs of its customers, both individuals and organizations. Credit/advances/loan schemes specifically designed for its customers. Also, it offers various novel services to customers, both individuals and organizations. The bank’s standalone net profit jumped 7.33% to Rs 3,061.48 crore on a 9.78% increase in total income to Rs 19,663.34 crore in Q3 FY26 over Q3 FY25.

Shares of Indian Bank fell 3.99% to Rs 852.65 on the BSE.
