Crompton Greaves bags contract for solar-based water pumping system from MP Urja Vikas Nigam

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals said that it has received a letter of award from Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam for a project valued at Rs 4.75 crore.


The contract involves the installation of 197 off-grid solar photovoltaic water pumping systems under Component-B of the PM KUSUM B scheme, which is being implemented in Madhya Pradesh as the PM Krishak Mitra Surya Yojana.

The project's scope is comprehensive, including the design, manufacture, supply, transport, installation, testing, and commissioning of the off-grid DC and AC solar photovoltaic water pumping systems.

This domestic contract must be completed within 120 days from the date the work order is issued.
