IRCON International spurts on securing order worth Rs 458 crore

IRCON International rallied 3.24% to Rs 157.95 after it has received an package-I contracrt worth Rs 458.14 crore from North Eastern Electric Power Corporation for the construction of Tato-I Hydro Electric Project in Arunachal Pradesh.


The order entails construction of civil works on item rate for Tato-I Hydro Electric Project, Arunachal Pradesh, comprising of Headworks & allied works, Head Race Channel, Head race Pipe, Intake, Headrace tunnel, Surge shaft, Pressure shaft, Valve house, Power house & allied works and Infrastructure works.

The order is valued at Rs 458,14,42,765.23 and is to be executed within 45 months from the date of commencement.

IRCON International is a Navratna, public-sector enterprise and a leading turnkey construction company in the public sector. Its core competence lies in railways and highways. IRCON has widespread operations in several states in India and other countries (Malaysia, Nepal, Bangladesh, South Africa, Algeria, Myanmar, and Sri Lanka).

IRCON International's consolidated net profit dropped 64.81% to Rs 86.10 crore while revenue from operations declined 10.81% to Rs 2,612.86 crore in Q3 December 2024 over Q3 December 2023.
