MIC Electronics gains after bagging LoA worth Rs 1 cr from Palakkad division, Kerala

MIC Electronics jumped 3.60% to Rs 52.40 after the company has received a letter of acceptance (LoA) worth Rs 1.28 crore from the Palakkad division S and T, railway divisional office, Kerala.

The order is for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the Integrated Passenger Information System (IPIS) at Kannur railway station.

The scope of work falls under the broader initiative for passenger amenity upgrades, which includes platform improvements, development of the circulating area and parking facilities, and provision of IRS-type platform shelters.

The project is part of the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme and includes a comprehensive annual maintenance contract (CAMC) for a period of 6 years.

The company stated that none of the promoter, promoter group, or group companies has any interest in the entity that awarded the order. It further clarified that the order does not fall under related party transactions.

MIC Electronics specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of LED video displays as well as high-end electronics and telecommunications products.

The company's consolidated net profit plummeted by 92.8% to Rs 3.57 crore, despite a significant 95.3% increase in revenue from operations, which rose to Rs 44.85 crore in Q4 FY25 compared to Q4 FY24.
