NHPC Ltd Falls 4.95%, S&P BSE Utilities index Drops 1.06%

NHPC Ltd has added 7.09% over last one month compared to 2.26% gain in S&P BSE Utilities index and 0.44% drop in the SENSEX


NHPC Ltd lost 4.95% today to trade at Rs 69.44. The S&P BSE Utilities index is down 1.06% to quote at 4868.79. The index is up 2.26 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd decreased 4.75% and Nava Ltd lost 0.73% on the day. The S&P BSE Utilities index went up 31.85 % over last one year compared to the 16.5% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

NHPC Ltd has added 7.09% over last one month compared to 2.26% gain in S&P BSE Utilities index and 0.44% drop in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 10.18 lakh shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 34.13 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 75 on 05 Jan 2024. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 37.8 on 27 Feb 2023.
