KPI Green arm bags solar projects from Citizen Umbrella Manufacturers

KPI Green Energy announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, KPIG Energia received an order of 1.75 MW from Citizen Umbrella Manufacturers for executing solar power projects under captive power producer segment.


The projects are scheduled to be completed in the financial year 2024-25, in various tranches as per the terms of the order, it added.

“With addition of the order mentioned above, our cumulative orders of solar power projects, till date have crossed over 149 MW under CPP segment of the company.” KPI Green stated in regulatory filing.

KPI Green Energy develops and maintains grid connected solar power projects and sells power units generated from the company's solar plants.

The power generation company reported a 64.2% increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 34.75 crore in Q2 FY24 as against Rs 21.16 crore in Q2 FY23. Revenue from operations jumped 34.55% year on year to Rs 215.06 crore during the quarter ended 30 September 2023.

The scrip shed 0.53% to Rs 1,146 on the BSE.
