Mafatlal Industries spurts after securing Rs 114-cr order from OCAC

Mafatlal Industries surged 9.42% to Rs 126 after the company announced that it has received an order valued at approximately Rs 114 crore from the Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC).


The order involves the setting up of 500 robotic laboratories across 16 districts in Odisha under the School and Mass Education Department. The project is scheduled to be executed over a period of five years.

The company clarified that its promoters and promoter group entities have no interest in the awarding authority.

Mafatlal Industries is engaged in the manufacture of plain and pattern woven, yarn and piece dyed, and printed fabrics for apparel, bedding and furnishing, from cotton and blends with polyester.

The company reported an 81.6% decline in consolidated net profit of Rs 4.49 crore in Q3 FY26 as against Rs 24.46 crore posted in Q3 FY25. Net sales fell 21.2% YoY to Rs 717.40 crore in the quarter ended 31 December 2025.
