Hero MotoCorp dispatches jump 9% YoY to 598,198 units in Mar’26

Hero MotoCorp recorded dispatches of 598,198 units in March 2026, registering an 8.8% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to 549,604 units in March 2025.


Domestic sales for the period stood at 552,505 units (up 8.3% YoY), while exports rose to 45,693 units (up 15.6% YoY).

Motorcycle sales came in at 532,383 units (up 5.1% YoY), while scooter sales surged 53.2% YoY to 65,815 units in March 2026.

Hero MotoCorp’s VIDA reported highest-ever monthly VAHAN registrations of 21,434 units in March 2026, marking 70% month-on-month growth. The business posted strong FY26 performance with dispatches rising 154% YoY, supported by robust demand in the electric two-wheeler segment.

The company’s global business reported the highest-ever dispatches of 45,693 units in March 2026, up 16% YoY from 39,518 units. The segment also recorded a strong FY26 performance with dispatches rising around 40% YoY, driven by robust demand for premium motorcycles and scooters across key international markets.

Separately, Hero MotoCorp has completed the acquisition of 268,219 Series E cumulative compulsorily convertible preference shares in Euler Motors for an aggregate consideration of Rs 210 crore. Following the transaction, the company holds a 36.67% stake in Euler Motors on a fully diluted basis.

Hero MotoCorp is the world's largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, with a global footprint spanning 48 countries across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. It has collaborations with Harley-Davidson and Zero Motorcycles and strategic investments in Ather Energy and Euler Motors.

The company has reported a 12% rise in standalone net profit to Rs 1,349 crore on a 21% increase in revenue from operations from Rs 12,328 crore in Q3 FY26 as compared with Q3 FY25.

The scrip fell 2.96% to currently trade at Rs 4,972.50 on the BSE.
