BSE SME IPO of Meta Infotech subscribed 2.70 times

The offer received bids for 96.69 lakh shares as against 35.77 lakh shares on offer.


The initial public offer (IPO) of Meta Infotech received bids for 96,69,600 shares as against 35,77,600 shares on offer, as per BSE data as of 17:00 hours on Friday (04 July 2025). The issue was subscribed 2.70 times.

The issue opened for bidding on Friday (04 July 2025) and it will close on Tuesday (08 July 2025). The price band of the IPO is fixed between Rs 153 to Rs 161 per share. The minimum order quantity is 800 equity shares. The equity shares will list on BSE’s SME platform.

The IPO comprised 49,80,000 equity shares, including a fresh issue of upto 12,45,000 equity shares and offer for sale (OFS) of upto 37,35,000 equity shares. The promoter and promoter group shareholding diluted to 68.90% from 94.94% pre-offer.

About 2,52,000 equity shares will be reserved for subscription by market maker to the issue. The net offer comprises of 46,77,600 equity shares including anchor allocation portion. The offer and the net offer will constitute 26.38% and 24.77% respectively of the post offer paid up equity share capital of the company.

The company intends to utilize the net proceeds to repay in full or in part certain outstanding borrowings, fund capital expenditure for the establishment of new office premises at Andheri East, Mumbai, set up an interactive experience centre at its registered office located at MIDC, Andheri East, Mumbai, and for general corporate purposes.

Ahead of the Meta Infotech on Thursday, 03 July 2025, raised Rs 22.57 crore from anchor investors. The board has allotted 14.02 lakh shares at Rs 161 per share to 15 anchor investors.

The company delivers comprehensive cybersecurity solutions and services to protect and maintain the integrity of information and systems. At Meta Infotech, it works to safeguard the digital infrastructures of companies across diverse industries such as banking, capital markets, NBFCs, IT/ITES, cybersecurity, automobile, insurance, pharmaceutical, FMCG, real estate, hospitality, manufacturing, and other conglomerates. Leveraging its domain expertise, Meta Infotech provides end-to-end cybersecurity solutions designed to address the challenges faced by these sectors. As of 31 March 2025, the company employed approximately 265 employees at various levels of the organization.

The company recorded revenue from operations of Rs 218.82 crore and a net profit of Rs 14.50 crore for the period ended 31 March 2025.
