Net more than doubles on good operating show


'Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of ABB India for the quarter ended Jun 2023 has increased 22.22% to Rs 2,508.63 crore.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 9.68% to 13.90%, leading to 75.45% rise in operating profit to Rs 348.72 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 53.30% to 54.00%.   Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 8.33% to 7.64%.   Employee cost decreased from 6.99% to 6.57%.   Other expenses fell from 21.84% to 18.14%.   Contract job process charges fell from 2.72% to 2.50%.   Other income up 196.21% to Rs 75.03 crore.  PBIDT rose 89.10% to Rs 423.75 crore.  Provision for interest fell 50.88% to Rs 1.39 crore.  PBDT rose 90.89% to Rs 422.36 crore.   Provision for depreciation rose 15.35% to Rs 29.23 crore.  Profit before tax grew 100.66% to Rs 393.13 crore.  Provision f...
