Net sales (including other operating income) of Abbott India has increased 6.80% to Rs 1,724.04 crore. Operating profit margin has declined from 27.01% to 26.88%, leading to 6.28% rise in operating profit to Rs 463.47 crore. Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 7.32% to 8.59%. Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 47.21% to 43.88%. Employee cost increased from 8.49% to 11.43%. Other expenses fell from 9.50% to 9.08%.
Other income fell 2.77% to Rs 69.76 crore. PBIDT rose 5% to Rs 533.23 crore. Provision for interest up 142.48% to Rs 5.48 crore.
PBDT rose 4.39% to Rs 527.75 crore. Provision for depreciation rose 4.34% to Rs 18.77 crore.
