Ambika Cotton Mills

Net profit up 9.7% YoY to Rs 14.3 crore in Q3FY2025


'On standalone basis

Quarter ended December 2024 compared with Quarter ended December 2023.

Net sales (including other operating income) of Ambika Cotton Mills has declined 20.40% to Rs 156.26 crore.  

Operating profit margin has jumped from 13.91% to 14.37%, leading to 17.80% decline in operating profit to Rs 22.45 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 66.90% to 66.74%.   Employee cost decreased from 7.11% to 6.88%.   Other expenses rose from 11.93% to 14.11%.   

Other income up 63.47% to Rs 6.31 crore.  PBIDT fell 7.73% to Rs 28.76 crore.  Provision for interest fell 43.39% to Rs 3.47 crore.  

PBDT rose 1% to Rs 25.29 crore.  Provision for depreciation down 16.96% to Rs 5.68 crore.  

Profit before tax grew 7.75% to Rs 19.61 crore. ...
