Expects to maintain NIM at 3.8%


'Axis Bank conducted a conference call on 26 January 2026 to discuss the financial results for the quarter ended December 2025. Amitabh Chaudhry, MD & CEO of the bank addressed the call:

Highlights:

The bank continues to deliver strong growth across both deposits and advances.

The core operating performance remains steady, supported by resilient net interest income and healthy momentum in fee income.

The bank has continued to strengthen distribution footprint and have now crossed the milestone of 6,000 branches.

The balance sheet remains resilient, and the capital position continues to be strong, enabling the bank to pursue profitable and sustainable growth.

Deposits growth momentum continued growing 5% qoq and 15% yoy, with CASA delivering a strong growth of 3% qoq and 14% yoy.

Total advances grew 4% qoq and 14% yoy. Within that, small business, SME and mid-corporate together, grew at 5% qoq and 22% yoy and constituted 24% of...
