'On consolidated basis

Quarter ended March 2025 compared with Quarter ended March 2024.

Net sales (including other operating income) of Bata India has declined 1.21% to Rs 788.21 crore.  Operating profit margin has declined from 22.85% to 22.63%, leading to 2.16% decline in operating profit to Rs 178.34 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 7.31% to 6.91%.   Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 36.47% to 38.55%.   Employee cost increased from 12.49% to 14.87%.   Other expenses fell from 22.37% to 18.33%.   

Other income rose 1.83% to Rs 22.3 crore.  PBIDT fell 1.73% to Rs 200.64 crore.  Provision for interest rose 12.27% to Rs 34.76 crore.  Loan funds rose to Rs 1,446.45 crore as of 31 March 2025 from Rs 1,357.29 crore as of 31 March 2024.  Inventories declined from Rs 929.55 crore as of 31 March 2...
