OP up 24.45% and NP down 9.22%


'For quarter ending June 2024, consolidated Net sales (including other operating income) of Bharat Forge has increased 5.90% to Rs 4106.15 crore compared to quarter ended June 2023. Sales of Forgings segment fell 3.00% to Rs 3,377.90 crore (accounting for 79.81% of total sales).  Sales of Others segment has gone down 54.27% to Rs 212.74 crore (accounting for 5.03% of total sales).  Inter-segment sales rose Rs 70.36 crore to Rs 126.20 crore.  

Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 30.01% to Rs 593.68 crore.  PBIT of Forgings segment rose 20.76% to Rs 509.94 crore (accounting for 85.89% of total PBIT).  PBIT of Others reported loss of Rs 2.23 crore compared to profit of Rs 34.37 crore.  

PBIT margin of Forgings segment rose from 12.13% to 15.10%.  PBIT margin of Others segment fell from 7.39% to 1.05%.  Overall PBIT margin rose from 11.57% to 14.03%.&nbs...
