In Q2, the company’s performance was in line with industry performance which is despite some headwinds. The company operates primarily in central region and prices in central region remained subdued compared to other regions through the period. Also, there were heavy unseasonal rains in the region in which company operates which also dampened the performance. The unit in Maiher also faced some issues as such the company had to purchase clinker from outside resulted in some impact on profitability. However, the company is now comfortable n clinker stock.
