Can Fin Homes

Stable asset quality, AUM growth moderates


'Can Fin Homes has continued to post 6% growth in the net profit to Rs 212.12 crore for the quarter ended December 2024 (Q3FY2025). Interest income increased 9% to Rs 986.11 crore, while interest expenses rose at higher pace of 12% to Rs 635.59 crore. NII of the company rose 5% to Rs 350.52 crore in Q3FY2025.

Operating expenses increased 21% to Rs 55.96 crore, allowing the operating profit to rise marginally by 2% to Rs 294.60 crore. Depreciation moved up 8% to Rs 3.33 crore, while loan loss provisions declined 28% to Rs 22.13 crore in Q3FY2025.

PBT rose 5% to Rs 269.12 crore. Effective tax rate eased to 21.2% in Q3FY2025 from 21.7% in Q3FY2024. The final bottomline of the company increased 6% growth in the net profit to Rs 212.12 in Q3FY2025.

Book value of the company stood at Rs 369.0 per share at end December 2024, while adjusted book value net of net NPA stood at Rs 355.0 per share at end December 2...
