Can Fin Homes

Steady performance


'Can Fin Homes has posted 12% growth in the net profit to Rs 233.92 crore for the quarter ended March 2025 (Q4FY2025). Interest income increased 8% to Rs 998.58 crore, while interest expenses moved up 9% to Rs 634.34 crore. NII of the company increased 6% to Rs 364.24 crore in Q4FY2025.
Operating expenses declined 2% to Rs 66.61 crore, allowing the operating profit to increase 8% to Rs 298.70 crore. Depreciation fell 1% to Rs 4.12 crore, while loan loss provisions increased 767% to Rs 15.43 crore in Q4FY2025. PBT rose 3% to Rs 279.15 crore.

Effective tax rate declined to 16.2% in Q4FY2025 from 22.6% in Q4FY2024. The final bottomline of the company increased 12% growth in the net profit to Rs 233.92 in Q4FY2025.

Book value of the company stood at Rs 380.6 per share at end March 2025, while adjusted book value net of net NPA stood at Rs 367.5 per share at end March 2025.
