City Union Bank

Strong performance on all counts


'City Union Bank has reported strong 15% growth in net profit at Rs 328.59 crore for the quarter ended September 2025 (Q2FY2026). The bank has posted healthy 14% growth in net interest income (NII), while the core fee income of the bank also jumped 29% in Q2FY2026. The Net Interest Margin (NIM) of the bank improved on sequential basis to 3.63% in Q2FY2026 and remained nearly flat from 3.67% in the corresponding quarter of previous year.

On business front, the bank as has posted 20% growth in business with strong 18% surge in loan book. The asset quality of the bank improved sharply in Q2FY2026. Bank has substantially reduced the credit to deposit ratio to 82.8% at end September 2025 from 84.9% at end September 2024. CASA ratio of the bank has declined to 28.1% at end September 2025 from 29.4% at end September 2024.

Asset quality improves: The bank has exhibited sharp improvement in asset quality in Q2FY2026.
