Deep Industries

Net up 31% on good operating show


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Deep Industries for the quarter ended Sep 2024 has increased 28.92% to Rs 130.62 crore.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 38.06% to 44.01%, leading to 49.07% rise in operating profit to Rs 57.48 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 40.85% to 38.12%.   Employee cost decreased from 11.95% to 11.51%.   Other expenses fell from 7.68% to 6.36%.   

Other income fell 26.29% to Rs 7.12 crore.  PBIDT rose 33.97% to Rs 64.6 crore.  Provision for interest rose 213.27% to Rs 3.07 crore.   PBDT rose 30.25% to Rs 61.53 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 9.99% to Rs 10.24 crore.   Profit before tax grew 35.22% to Rs 51.29 crore.  Share of profit/loss were nil in both the periods.  Provision for tax was expense of Rs 9.74 crore, compared to Rs 8.41 crore.&n...
