Sales up 40%, PAT up 29%


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Engineers India for the quarter ended Jun 2025 has increased 39.52% to Rs 870.36 crore.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 8.18% to 8.28%, leading to 41.30% rise in operating profit to Rs 72.09 crore.  Employee cost decreased from 38.79% to 28.79%.   Other expenses rose from 53.03% to 62.93%.   Expenses from contract rose from 33.16% to 42.21%.   Construction development cost rose from 8.79% to 8.98%.   

Other income fell 6.46% to Rs 36.36 crore.    Provision for interest fell 20.51% to Rs 0.62 crore.   Provision for depreciation rose 7.22% to Rs 10.55 crore.   Thus Profit before tax grew 22.72% to Rs 97.28 crore.  

Provision for tax was expense of Rs 24.51 crore, compared to Rs 20.32 crore.  Thus PAT was up 23% to Rs 72.77 crore.
