Esab India

Net down 8% largely on lower OPM


'Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of Esab India for the quarter ended Jun 2025 has increased 6.80% to Rs 352.02 crore.  Operating profit margin has declined from 18.83% to 16.80%, leading to 4.70% decline in operating profit to Rs 59.15 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 43.53% to 42.86%.   Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 15.48% to 17.62%.   Employee cost increased from 8.45% to 9.41%.   Other expenses rose from 13.98% to 14.11%.   

Other income fell 27.27% to Rs 0.88 crore.  PBIDT fell 5.14% to Rs 60.03 crore.  Provision for interest up 500% to Rs 0.66 crore.  

PBDT fell 6.02% to Rs 59.37 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 28.23% to Rs 4.27 crore.  

Profit before tax down 7.92% to Rs 55.10 crore.  Provision for tax was expense of Rs 14.16 crore, compared to Rs 1...
