Esab India

Net up 7% dragged by higher EO expense


'Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of Esab India for the quarter ended Dec 2025 has increased 12.25% to Rs 378.83 crore.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 16.37% to 19.99%, leading to 37.03% rise in operating profit to Rs 75.71 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 44.73% to 42.44%.   Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 15.06% to 13.60%.   Employee cost increased from 9.00% to 9.44%.   Other expenses fell from 14.56% to 14.28%.   

Other income fell 67.18% to Rs 1.07 crore.  PBIDT rose 31.23% to Rs 76.78 crore.  Provision for interest up 472.73% to Rs 0.63 crore.  PBDT rose 30.39% to Rs 76.15 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 11.34% to Rs 4.32 crore.  Profit before tax grew 31.75% to Rs 71.83 crore.  EO expense was Rs 13.65 crore due to impact of implementation of new labour code against ni...
