Hindustan Aeronautics

Sales up 7%, net up 9%


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Hindustan Aeronautics for the quarter ended Dec 2023 has increased 6.99% to Rs 6061.28 crore.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 17.39% to 23.68%, leading to 45.65% rise in operating profit to Rs 1,435.33 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 37.91% to 45.46%.   Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 3.39% to 2.26%.   Employee cost increased from 20.94% to 21.07%.  Other expenses fell from 19.55% to 7.95%.   Other direct service cost fell from 0.60% to 0.55%.   Provisions write offs cost fell from 15.03% to 3.92%.   Other provisions fell from 15.03% to 3.92%.   Pre-operation capitalised expenses fell from 4.24% to 2.70%.   Other income fell 7.48% to Rs 459.98 crore.  PBIDT rose 27.84% to Rs 1895.31 crore.  Provision for interest fell 82.61% to Rs 0.36 ...
