Net sales (including other operating income) of Indian Railway Catering & Tourism
Corporation has increased 3.77% to Rs 1159.68 crore. Sales of
Catering segment has gone down 2.17% to Rs 546.78 crore (accounting for 46.99%
of total sales). Sales of Rail neer segment has gone down 0.88% to
Rs 110.49 crore (accounting for 9.49% of total sales). Sales of
Internet Ticketing segment rose 9.02% to Rs 358.75 crore (accounting for 30.83%
of total sales). Sales of Tourism segment has gone up 18.27% to Rs
147.70 crore (accounting for 12.69% of total sales). Inter-segment
sales came down from Rs 4.16 crore to Rs 4.04 crore.
Profit before interest,
tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 7.70% to Rs 401.90
crore. PBIT of Catering segment fell 7.92% to Rs 71.75...
