Net sales (including other operating income) of Indian Railway Catering & Tourism
Corporation has increased 18.36% to Rs 1449.47 crore. Sales of
Catering segment has gone up 19.22% to Rs 661.43 crore (accounting for 45.49%
of total sales). Sales of Rail neer segment has gone up 6.64% to Rs
102.75 crore (accounting for 7.07% of total sales). Sales of
Internet Ticketing segment rose 13.26% to Rs 400.63 crore (accounting for
27.55% of total sales). Sales of Tourism segment has gone up 29.29%
to Rs 289.27 crore (accounting for 19.89% of total sales). Inter-segment
sales rose Rs 3.97 crore to Rs 4.62 crore.
Profit before interest,
tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 15.11% to Rs 479.66
