ISGEC Heavy Engineering

Net down 12% largely on lower sales


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of ISGEC Heavy Engineering for the quarter ended Jun 2025 has declined 12.90% to Rs 1340.99 crore.  Sales of Mfg of Machinery & Equipment segment has gone down 12.32% to Rs 476.36 crore (accounting for 33.42% of total sales).  Sales of Engineering Procurement & Construct segment has gone down 18.23% to Rs 717.70 crore (accounting for 50.35% of total sales).  Sales of Sugar segment rose 7.21% to Rs 183.71 crore (accounting for 12.89% of total sales).  Sales of Ethanol segment has gone down 20.83% to Rs 47.66 crore (accounting for 3.34% of total sales).  Inter-segment sales came down from Rs 113.09 crore to Rs 84.52 crore.  

Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 4.07% to Rs 117.17 crore.  PBIT of Mfg of Machinery & Equipment segment fell 11.70% to Rs 65.07 crore (accounting for 55.53% of total PBIT).  ...
