JSW Energy

Net up 42% on good operating show


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of JSW Energy has increased 78.62% to Rs 5143.37 crore.  


Operating profit margin has jumped from 49.24% to 54.22%, leading to 96.70% rise in operating profit to Rs 2,788.66 crore.  Employee cost decreased from 3.76% to 3.09%.   Other expenses fell from 47.01% to 42.05%.   Power and Oil fuel cost fell from 37.02% to 30.71%.   

Other income rose 64.14% to Rs 267.87 crore.  PBIDT rose 93.34% to Rs 3056.53 crore.  Provision for interest rose 155.45% to Rs 1305.52 crore.  

PBDT rose 63.66% to Rs 1751.01 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 96.72% to Rs 738.59 crore.  

Profit before tax grew 45.79% to Rs 1,012.42 crore.  Share of profit/loss was 21.11% lower at Rs 2.99 crore.  Provision for tax was expense of Rs 179.55 crore, compared to Rs 164.06 crore.  Effective tax...
