'Net sales (including other operating income) of JSW Steel has declined 3.13% to Rs 44819 crore.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 13.24% to 14.23%, leading to 4.15% rise in operating profit to Rs 6,378.00 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 53.66% to 51.44%.   Purchase of finished goods cost rose from 1.04% to 1.24%.   Employee cost increased from 2.52% to 2.67%.   Other expenses rose from 29.39% to 30.24%.   Power and Oil fuel cost rose from 8.07% to 9.66%.   Other direct service cost fell from 5.59% to 4.57%.
