NP up 17.66%


'For quarter ending June 2024, consolidated Net sales (including other operating income) of L G Balakrishnan & Bros has increased 6.07% to Rs 571.29 crore compared to quarter ended June 2023. Sales of Formed Metal & Assembled Products segment has gone up 8.43% to Rs 135.30 crore (accounting for 23.68% of total sales).  Sales of Transmission segment has gone up 5.35% to Rs 435.99 crore (accounting for 76.32% of total sales).  

Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 8.80% to Rs 86.26 crore.  PBIT of Formed Metal & Assembled Products segment fell 6.12% to Rs 11.80 crore (accounting for 13.68% of total PBIT).  PBIT of Transmission segment rose 11.61% to Rs 74.46 crore (accounting for 86.32% of total PBIT).  

PBIT margin of Formed Metal & Assembled Products segment fell from 10.07% to 8.72%.  PBIT margin of Transmission segment rose from 16.12% to 17.08%. &n...
