Net sales (including other operating income) of L G Balakrishnan & Bros has increased 10.25% to Rs 669.17 crore. Sales of Formed Metal & Assembled Products segment has gone up 28.56% to Rs 163.38 crore (accounting for 24.42% of total sales). Sales of Transmission segment has gone up 5.40% to Rs 505.79 crore (accounting for 75.58% of total sales).
Profit before interest, tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 1.73% to Rs 96.97 crore. PBIT of Formed Metal & Assembled Products segment fell 14.55% to Rs 15.30 crore (accounting for 15.78% of total PBIT). PBIT of Transmission segment rose 5.49% to Rs 81.67 crore (accounting for 84.22% of total PBIT).
