Net down 4% hit by higher EO exp


'Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of Larsen & Toubro for the quarter ended Dec 2025 has increased 10.49% to Rs 71449.7 crore.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 12.21% to 12.86%, leading to 16.36% rise in operating profit to Rs 9,190.21 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 11.26% to 11.85%.   Purchase of finished goods cost fell from 0.70% to 0.42%.   Employee cost decreased from 18.41% to 17.91%.   Other expenses fell from 57.41% to 56.96%.   Selling and administration expenses fell from 4.46% to 4.44%.   Stores consumed for sales fell from 1.95% to 1.31%.   Expenses from contract fell from 17.20% to 16.67%.   Construction development cost fell from 23.30% to 21.06%.   Other direct service cost rose from 10.49% to 13.48%.
