Net down 24% on lower sales and higher EO exp

Consolidated net sales (including other operating income) of LMW for the quarter ended Dec 2025 has declined 1.07% to Rs 758.24 crore.  Operating profit margin has jumped from 4.67% to 5.49%, leading to 16.47% rise in operating profit to Rs 41.65 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 60.15% to 60.51%.   Employee cost decreased from 12.71% to 12.43%.   Other expenses fell from 22.26% to 21.60%.   Other income fell 10.01% to Rs 29.66 crore.  PBIDT rose 3.77% to Rs 71.31 crore.  Provision for interest remained nil.  PBDT rose 3.77% to Rs 71.31 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 5.03% to Rs 30.29 crore.  Profit before tax grew 2.86% to Rs 41.02 crore.  Share of profit/loss were nil in both the periods.  Provision for tax was expense of Rs 14.86 crore, compared to Rs 20.58 crore.  Effective tax rate was 50.34% compa...
