Net sales (including other operating income) of Nuvoco Vistas Corporation has
increased 8.33% to Rs 2457.57 crore. Sales of Cement segment has
gone up 8.25% to Rs 2,217.84 crore (accounting for 89.59% of total
sales). Sales of Ready Mix conrete and Others segment has gone up
8.86% to Rs 257.74 crore (accounting for 10.41% of total
sales). Inter-segment sales rose Rs 16.94 crore to Rs 18.01
crore.
Profit before interest,
tax and other unallocable items (PBIT) has jumped 4,189.91% to Rs 148.86
crore. PBIT of Cement segment rose 1,543.22% to Rs 156.27 crore
(accounting for 104.98% of total PBIT). PBIT of Ready Mix conrete
and Others segment fell 22.68% to Rs -7.41 crore (accounting for -4.98% of
total PBIT).
