'Net sales (including other operating income)
of P I Industries has declined 15.70% to Rs 1872.3 crore led by around 18% drop
in Agchem exports, driven by 17% lower volumes. Domestic revenue contracted by
around 13% YoY, with volumes down 9%, largely impacted by erratic rainfall,
which disrupted agri-input demand, and regulatory transitions in the
Biologicals segment. Exports revenue declined by around 18% YoY. However, gross
margins remained steady supported by a favourable product mix. The Pharma
segment revenue grew 54% YoY, contributing approximately 4% to the company’s
total exports revenue. Growth was driven by strong traction in new products,
with molecules launched over the past three years recording a 27% year-on-year
increase. During the H1FY26, five new molecules were successfully
commercialised, underscoring the company’s steady progress in executing its
business plan and meeting customer delivery commitments.
