Pidilite Industries

Steady growth


'Net sales (including other operating income) of Pidilite Industries has increased 7.63% to Rs 3368.91 crore.  Sales of Consumer & Bazaar Products segment has gone up 5.17% to Rs 2,672.58 crore (accounting for 77.61% of total sales).  Sales of Business to Business segment has gone up 18.80% to Rs 757.15 crore (accounting for 21.99% of total sales).  Sales of Others segment rose 41.50% to Rs 13.74 crore (accounting for 0.40% of total sales).  Inter-segment sales rose Rs 58.31 crore to Rs 74.56 crore. 

The current quarter’s revenue growth of 9.3% was aided by underlying volume growth (UVG) of 9.7% across categories and geographies. Consumer and Bazaar (C&B) UVG was 7.3%, while Business to Business (‘B2B’) maintained growth momentum with UVG of 21.7%.  Gross Margins improved by 100 bps year on year, primarily due...
