Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of Power Grid Corporation of India for the quarter ended Mar 2025 has increased 1% to Rs 10982.55 crore. Operating profit margin has jumped by 130 bps to 84% and thus the operating profit was up by 1% to Rs 9222.70 crore. Employee cost increased from 5.8% to 7%. Other expenses fell from 11.46% to 9.07%. Other income up 24.66% to Rs 1499.84 crore. Provision for interest up 28.05% to Rs 2587.51 crore. Provision for depreciation down 2.35% to Rs 3043.16 crore. Profit before tax de-grew 2% to Rs 5091.87 crore. Provision for tax was expense of Rs 806.34 crore, compared to Rs 906.03 crore. Profit after tax was flat at Rs 4285.53 crore.
