Precision Wires India

Net up 18% largely gained by higher sales


'Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of Precision Wires India for the quarter ended Sep 2024 has increased 25.84% to Rs 1,043.79 crore.  Operating profit margin has declined from 4.24% to 4.05%, leading to 20.13% rise in operating profit to Rs 42.26 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 90.83% to 91.28%.   Employee cost decreased from 1.20% to 1.11%.   Other expenses fell from 3.60% to 3.39%.   Power and Oil fuel cost fell from 1.17% to 0.96%.   

PBIDT rose 20.13% to Rs 42.26 crore.  Provision for interest up 38.68% to Rs 12.01 crore.   PBDT rose 14.06% to Rs 30.25 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 3.79% to Rs 4.38 crore.   Profit before tax grew 16.01% to Rs 25.87 crore.  Provision for tax was expense of Rs 6.6 crore, compared to Rs 5.95 crore.  Effective tax rate was 25.51% compared to 2...
