Precot

Operating profit up 12.8% YoY to Rs 28.5 cr in Q1FY2026


'On consolidated basis

Quarter ended June 2025 compared with Quarter ended June 2024.

Net sales (including other operating income) of Precot has declined 0.69% to Rs 206.38 crore.  

Operating profit margin has jumped from 12.17% to 13.83%, leading to 12.81% rise in operating profit to Rs 28.54 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) decreased from 57.56% to 51.03%.   Employee cost increased from 9.65% to 10.37%.   Other expenses rose from 20.62% to 23.20%.   

Other income fell 41.78% to Rs 1.24 crore.  PBIDT rose 8.57% to Rs 29.78 crore.  

PBDT rose 12.16% to Rs 21.67 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 57.94% to Rs 6.76 crore.  

Profit before tax down 0.86% to Rs 14.91 crore.  Share of profit/loss were nil in both the periods.  Provision fo...
