Sales up 1%, net stayed flat

Standalone net sales (including other operating income) of Rajoo Engineers for the quarter ended Dec 2021 has increased 0.64% to Rs 42.43 crore.  Operating profit margin has declined from 12.78% to 12.73%, leading to 0.19% rise in operating profit to Rs 5.40 crore.  Raw material cost as a % of total sales (net of stock adjustments) increased from 52.65% to 61.36%.   Employee cost decreased from 11.32% to 8.47%.   Other expenses fell from 20.96% to 17.89%.   

Other income up 3.03% to Rs 0.34 crore.  PBIDT rose 0.35% to Rs 5.74 crore.  Provision for interest fell 69.57% to Rs 0.07 crore.  

PBDT rose 3.28% to Rs 5.67 crore.  Provision for depreciation rose 1.16% to Rs 0.87 crore.  

Profit before tax grew 3.67% to Rs 4.80 crore.  Provision for tax was expense of Rs 1.51 crore, compared to Rs 1.33 crore.  Effective tax rate was 31.46% co...
